Pastor’s Column – September 25, 2022

This weekend’s Readings from Sacred Scripture speak to us about the responsibility that all of us have with the blessings that God has given to us. The Rich man in today’s Gospel did not do anything wrong to Lazarus. He did not beat him, curse him or do any physical harm to him. However, the Rich man was condemned to hell because he did not treat Lazarus with love or respect. He failed to recognize Lazarus at this doorstep as he was feasting at his table. All God’s blessings are meant to be shared with others. May God open our eyes that we may recognize Him present in the poor and the neediest among us. May we all acknowledge and accept the responsibilities of sharing God’s blessings with the less fortunate.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
