𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧 – 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒

During March, we are collecting pasta and cereal for the Whitney Point Ecumenical Food Pantry. Please place your donations in designated baskets at the entrances of our churches. Thank you for your food and monetary donations that help to feed those less fortunate in our community. This weekend’s Gospel has Jesus telling us that “God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son so that those who believe in Him might have eternal life.” Jesus continues that “God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might have life through Him.” These lines from the Gospel of St. John challenge us to look at our image of who God is. Our God is not an angry, judgmental God, but is a God who truly wants to save us. God’s love for us is so great that He freely gave His life for us on the cross. Let’s take some time this week to reflect upon that love!
