Volunteers needed for Lourdes Hospice Program
If you possess respect and reverence for life, a positive outlook, compassion, a sense of humor and the willingness to help others as a member of the Hospice team, then our Hospice patients need you. Training begins in March for four weeks in which an overview of the Hospice program, the volunteer’s role, the emotional and spiritual issues related to the hospice patient, effective communication skills and how to care for yourself.
