Food For The Poor Missionary Priest

Today, January 3rd, we welcomed and heard Rev. William R. Sokolowski speak at our Masses about a ministry providing direct relief to the poor throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Fr. Sokolowski shared personal witness about Food For The Poor’s mission to care for the destitute as a means of living out the Gospel mandate to love one another. Fr. Sokolowski was ordained in 1965 for the Archdiocese of Hartford. Fr. Bill taught Philosophy for over 25 years. Before joining Food For The Poor, he served as a pastor in the Archdiocese of Hartford.
