It is so great to be able to have our annual Parish Picnic at Dorchester Park. It is important for us to take some time and to be with one another before the end of summer and the beginning of another school year. I have been looking forward to this day to be able to spend some time with our parish family and to get to know the people of our parish community. It is important for us to be able to grow together as we strive to become the Body of Christ for the world. This is our fundamental calling as a Parish Community. Let us all take some time today to grow in relationship with one another and to enjoy the presence of our Loving God as His Holy Spirit unites us today.
Our Readings from Sacred Scripture this week speak to us about the universal call of our God. Our God is not only the God of Christians, but is a Universal God who is constantly inviting people to be in relationship with Him. When was the last time that you shared your faith with someone? When was the last time you invited someone to attend Sunday Mass with you? We all are called to work to spread the Good News of God’s Universal love for all people.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
