Pastor’s Column
This weekend’s Gospel Reading speaks to us about the cost of following our Lord Jesus. In the midst of a world that often judges people on their possessions,( the location of your home, the car that you drive, the clothes that you wear, the job that you have) Jesus tells us that we are more than our possessions. As we follow our Lord Jesus, we grow in the knowledge that His love is the most important thing in our lives. May we always value God’s love as our greatest possession…
This Monday is Labor Day and the traditional end of the season of summer. School begins this week and Religious Education begins in a few weeks in our parish. Now is the time to plan for the upcoming year of Religious Education. I firmly believe that weekly mass as a family and weekly attendance at Religious Education classes is the best way to share the Catholic faith with our young people. It is my hope that all members of our parish family may grow in their relationship with the Lord Jesus during this upcoming year.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!
