𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧 – 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑

This weekend is HOPE Appeal Sunday in our Diocese. It is an opportunity for all of us to join with Bishop Lucia and to support the many ministries in our diocese that we are unable to do alone as a parish. This weekend we will show the HOPE Appeal video at all weekend Masses and ask that you prayerfully consider being generous and making a gift to this year’s HOPE Appeal. I am proud to say that ALL of our Parish Staff are supporting the HOPE Appeal and making a gift to support these important ministries. It is my hope that we will be able to reach our parish goals of $18,174.00(St. Stephen-St. Patrick) and $2,530.00 (OLPH.) Please be generous in supporting this year’s HOPE Appeal.

Monday is September 11, and we recall the many lives that were lost that day in the destruction of the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the downing of the United Airlines flight in Pennsylvania. We pray for the victims of this horrible day and for the surviving members of their families. We also pause and pray for peace in our world and ask God to bless our nation. HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
