As we celebrate the Fifth Sunday of Lent, we also celebrate the feast of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. In the First Reading from the Book of the Prophet Jeremiah, we hear that God wants to print the law upon our hearts. This is the true meaning of love. Like Patrick, we are all called to live our lives responding to the great love that God has for us. We are called to share Godโ€™s love with others by the way that we treat them. Each of us, during this Lenten season, is called to experience anew, the great love that God has for them. One great way to do this is to experience Godโ€™s mercy in the Sacrament of Reconciliation or Confession. Next Monday, during Holy Week, our parish will be taking part in the diocesan-wide โ€œThe Light is on for Youโ€. Fr. Thomas will be in the confessional from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at St. Stephenโ€™s Church in Marathon. This is an excellent opportunity for us to meet our Loving God in this healing sacrament and to be reconciled with him and one another. It is my hope that all members of our parish family will take advantage of these wonderful opportunities during this special season.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
