𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧 – 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒

This weekend we celebrate the Feast of Pentecost. We recall how the Holy Spirit came down upon the apostles who were gathered in prayer in the upper room. St. Luke tells us that the Holy Spirit descended upon each of them and that they began to announce the Good News. The Acts of the Apostles tells us the story of Peter and how he announced the Good News to those who were in Jerusalem, gathered from all over the world. Though they spoke different languages, they all heard Peter in their own language. This speaks to us about the Spirit of Unity.

We all have been given the gift of the Holy Spirit on the day of our Baptism. We all were sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit on the day of our Confirmation. We all have been given this gift from God. We are all called to ask the Lord to enflame this gift into action in our lives. May we ask the Lord to give us the gift of unity as together we form the Body of Christ.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!
