This Sunday is special for our parish family. At our 8:30 Mass at St. Patrickโ€™s our young people will be receiving the Lord Jesus for the first time in Holy Communion. They call us to reflect upon this great gift that the Lord gives to us and invite us to come to a greater awareness of this great gift in our midst. I would like to congratulate our young people and their families on this special day. I would also like to thank all those who helped to prepare them for this special day, especially their families for their love and support of our young people.

This coming Saturday John Mihalko will be ordained to the Permanent Diaconate at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Syracuse. This will be a historic day for John and for our parish family. Next Sunday John will be the deacon at and preach at all Sunday masses in our parish. I would like to congratulate John and his family on this special day. Please keep John and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they prepare for this special day. HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
