𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧 – 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑

In this weekend’s Gospel, we hear Jesus offering each of us an invitation. In the midst of the busyness of our lives, in the midst of life’s trials and troubles, Jesus invites us to “come to him.” He invites us to come to Him so that He can give us rest. Summertime is an excellent opportunity for us to slow down our lives and to spend some time with our Lord Jesus. Maybe we can begin by spending ten minutes a day with our Lord Jesus. We can simply talk to Him like we would talk to a good friend and share with Him whatever is on our heart for the day. We can simply tell Him all the needs that we have or the people that we are concerned about and ask Him to take care of the situations. Today is a great day to begin this process.
