In this weekendโ€™s Scripture Readings, we see how God can use the simplest of things to accomplish His purpose. We see how God uses a widow to take care of His servant Elisha the prophet. We see Jesus telling His disciples that anyone who gives even a cup of cold water to someone in need will be rewarded. Really? Even a thing that seems to be as small as a cup of cold water? God takes all the seemingly insignificant acts of love and care in our lives and is able to transform them into building blocks for His Kingdom. Too many times we think that God uses the huge and daunting moments of our lives to make His presence felt. The opposite is true. Very often, God uses the ordinary, seemingly small moments of our lives to make His loving presence and Kingdom present in our midst. Let us as the Lord open our eyes to recognize this simple truth this week.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
