𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧 – 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒

In this weekend’s Gospel story, we see the disciples in a boat encountering a terrible storm. As the wind is blowing and the waves are crashing into the boat, Jesus is asleep in the back of the boat on a cushion. The disciples awaken Jesus and He quickly calms the storm. How many times in our lives do we feel like the disciples in the boat with Jesus asleep. How many times do the storms of life want to overwhelm us? How many times do we feel like Jesus might be asleep as we go through the struggles of life. Our Gospel this weekend challenges us to trust in the Lord Jesus and His presence in our lives. He calls us to believe in the power of God’s love and that He is always in control.
