𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧 – 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒

This Readings from Sacred Scripture speak to us about the prophetic call this weekend. We see in the First Reading from the Book of Deuteronomy that Moses speaks to the People of Israel about the role of the prophet in the life of the Israelites. The prophet is the one who is called to speak for God to the Israelites and to the world. The prophet is called to have a deep life of prayer to know what is at the heart of God. The prophet also is called to participate fully in the life of the nation of Israel. We all have been anointed prophets on the day of our baptism. We all have been called by our God to announce the Good News of His love to all the world. May we accept this great challenge and always proclaim the Good News of God by the way we live our lives.

It is hard to believe that Ash Wednesday is two weeks away! It is not too early to start making your plans for the season of Lent. Start planning now how you are going to get closer to God during this holy season. HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!!!!
