𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧 – 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒
On this final day of the Octave of Easter, the Church celebrates the Feast of Divine Mercy. It is on this feast that we recall the words of the psalmist “God’s mercy endures forever.” How badly does our world need this gift of God’s mercy today. In the midst of a world filled with vengeance and hate, we recall that our God is merciful and He invites us to experience His mercy and then to share this mercy with a hurting world. God’s mercy is always available for us in the sacrament of confession. It is in this sacrament that we encounter our merciful and forgiving God. Only after tasting God’s mercy and forgiveness in our own lives are we able to share it with others. May we always give thanks to our God whose mercy endures forever!
Have a Great Week!!
