It is in the joy of the Octave of Easter that the Church calls us to reflect upon God whoโ€™s โ€œmercy endures forever,โ€ according to Psalm 118. This Sunday we celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday. It is a day when we reflect upon the great mercy that God has. Each of us is in need of Godโ€™s mercy in our lives for none of us is worthy of Godโ€™s love. Godโ€™s mercy is made concrete and real for us as we experience it in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. When was the last time you celebrated Godโ€™s mercy and forgiveness in your life? It might be time to do so soon.

I would like to thank Fr. Thomas, Deacon Tony and all who made the celebrations of the Sacred Triduum so special, from those who organized and participated in the washing of the feet on Holy Thursday and setting up at both churches for each celebration. We are grateful to have such giving parishioners of their time. These liturgies are important in the life of our parish family and are the central mysteries of our faith. May God continue to bless us throughout the Easter Season!
HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!
