Pastorโ€™s Column – April 9, 2023

Christ is Risen! He is Truly Risen! This traditional Easter greeting is a powerful statement of todayโ€™s feast. We celebrate the central mystery of our faith today as we celebrate the victory of Jesus over sin and death. Jesusโ€™ resurrection gives us hope as we all carry our daily crosses. We know that while we may have to suffer and struggle, our God will conquer all our struggles and sins. This Easter feast gives us hope as we journey through this world as disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ. May the joy and hope of Easter enter into our daily lives and may we always proclaim the Good News by the way we live our lives.

I would like to thank everyone who worked so hard to make our Liturgies so beautiful for the Sacred Triduum. I would like to thank Fr. Thomas and Deacon Tony for all that they do for our parish family. I would like to thank Jennifer and our Music Ministry for enhancing our liturgies and making them so special. Thank you all Lectors, Special Ministers of the Eucharist, ushers and all who help to prepare our liturgies. Thank you Mary Wied, our parish secretary, for all the work, effort and love you daily give to our parish family. Our community is truly blessed with so many talented and generous members that make our parish family so special.

HAPPY EASTER!

Fr. Jim
