Hello to ALL Families of Faith Formation students
Just a note to let you all know, the first Faith Formation class for the 2023-2024 catechetical year will be on Sunday 9/17/2023. Classes for all grades will again be held at St. Patrick’s Church Hall from 9:20 AM – 11:00 AM (right after 8:30 AM Mass).
All children entering Kindergarten this fall through High School (confirmation) are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The following are some of the activities our program provides – classes that teach children to practice their faith and participate in various ministries, service projects, art, games, and socialization. The catechists are wonderful role models, dedicated teachers, and mentors for your children. We are all looking forward to the “new” year.
The following sacramental celebrations will be held as we head towards the Lenten season and on to spring of 2024 – First Penance and First Holy Communion for the second graders.
Confirmation preparation begins for teens entering the 9th grade and up this fall. This is a 2 year program and classes take place at the same location, same dates and times as all other grade levels. The Confirmation celebration will take place in the Spring of 2025. We encourage all eligible teens to register and attend. This may be a teen’s last opportunity to complete the class before High School graduation.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word will resume at 8:30 AM Mass on 9/17/23 for all children ages 3 – second grade.
Also at this time, in order to continue providing Faith Formation for your children, we are in need of the following volunteers:
Immediate need – due to vacancy for catechist (teacher) for grades 6,7 and 8. Substitute teachers for all grade levels and leaders for Children’s Liturgy of the Word.
