𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻 – 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮

We have reached the final Sunday of our Advent journey together as a parish family. The preparations for Christmas are upon us. As we celebrate this final Sunday in Advent, we make our final preparations for the Feast of Christmas. This past Monday evening we had our Advent Penance Service. It was great to be able to celebrate God’s mercy and forgiveness with the People of our St. Stephen-St. Patrick Parish Family. I am grateful to my brother priests who gave of their time that evening to help our parish meet our Loving and Merciful Lord.

As we journey through the final week of Advent, let us make our plans now for attending Christmas Mass. Our Christmas Vigil Mass will take place at 4:00 PM on Christmas eve at St. Patrick’s Church in Whitney Point.. This Mass is always a wonderful, faith-filled celebration. It is also very crowded. If you would like a seat in the church, I suggest that you arrive early. On Christmas morning we will have mass at 10:00 AM at St. Stephen’s Church in Marathon. We will also have mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Mission Church at 12:00 noon. Make your plans now to attend Mass on this holy day. As we journey through this last week of advent, why not take some time to prepare spiritually for this special day. A few minutes a day in prayer with the Lord is a great way to prepare.

Have a Great Week!!!
